TJO Konsultatsioonid provide various training courses. There are always a number of different public trainings in our calendar.

Trainings may be divided into the following groups:

1) Trainings on how to use and interpret various management systems standards requirements:

  3. ISO 45001 (OHSAS 18001) based occupational health and safety management system (see more information in Estonian)

3) Special training programs or development programs:

1. Production Managers Development Program

It is a set of 5 practical trainings, which are aimed to develop production managers’ skills and to give them opportunity to meet with colleagues and share knowledge.

The program consist of the following trainings:

  • How to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of production
    • when applying the proper tools, cost and wastes can be reduces. We also show how you can easily integrate ISO 9001 and lean principles.
  • How to motivate people and keep motivated
    • it is not easy to keep people motivated. Thus it is recommended to keep in mind many relevant techniques and tricks.
  • Production planning
    • poor planning will generate many problems and costs. Training will teach how to keep production under control with proper planning.
  • Professional production manager leadership skills training
    • It is a 2-day behavioural management training course. There is planned to use video feedback during the development of behavioural skills. Objective is to increase the awareness of the participants of the role of production manager and teach and practice techniques that will help to fulfil this role.
  • Development of total productive maintenance (TPM) system
    • Equipment and machinery is aimed to serve us. The training will teach how to develop total productive maintenance (TPM) system which ensures that machinery is maintained and can be used when necessary.

2. Implementation of Lean methodologies

It is a set of 8 practical trainings, which provides an overview how to use Lean principles to increase effectiveness and efficiency of any organization.
The program consist of the following trainings:

  • Lean principles and most usable techniques
    • The first training gives general overview and the rest are concentrated into specific topics. Lean manufacturing training program and will have an idea to reduce waste in manufacturing processes through continuous improvement, creating value and flowing smoothly according to the demand signals. Program covers topics like Toyota production system, 8 wastes (muda), value added and non-value added activities, push and pull production, etc.
  • Push and pull production and kanban system
  • 5S system and visual management
  • Application of VSM (value stream mapping)
  • Balancing production workload
  • Quick changeovers using SMED-technique
  • Application of tools of mistake-proofing and 0-defect
  • Development of continuous improvement (Kaizen) system

3. Quality Manager Development Program

It is the set of 6 thematic training to help to develop quality managers’ skills and gather experiences necessary to improve both effectiveness and efficiency of the organization and its management system.
Quality Manager Development Program is directly aimed on improving the performance management system. Every training analyses management system improvement potential from the different perspective.
There is about 3 weeks, between every training, to allow participants to implement gathered ideas in practice.

The program consist of the following trainings:

  • Increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of management system 
    • when applying the proper tools, cost and wastes can be reduces. We also show how you can easily integrate ISO 9001 and lean principles.
  • Development of system of balanced measures  
    • it is wise to use various measures for corporate development, starting from process measures and ending with strategic measures and KPIs and application of the Balanced Scorecard. Training will introduce how to develop the system of measures, which will help to achieve objectives and provides proper base for monitoring and management.
  • Development of integrated management system  
    • There are many areas, not described in standards, that can be integrated into management system. Training is analysing how to integrate marketing, customer relationships management, bookkeeping, financial planning and other relevant areas into management system as whole.
  • Application of TQM and self-assessment  
    • The training provides practical overview how to implement TQM principles and self-assessment in your activities to achieve better results.
  • Effective risk management
    • Risk management is relevant for every organization. In a modern and successful organization there has to be a system that helps to manage risks. Training will explain how to develop risks management system.
  • Application of problem solving techniques
    • Every day we are facing various problems. We spend significant time to solve these problems. Training will teach how to handle problems in most effective and efficient way and how to learn from problems and develop system, which helps to reduces problems in the future.

4. Six Sigma Green Belt Training Program

The program is designed for managers and professionals who are exposed to difficult and complex problems, and wish to have an effective tool to address such problems. Past experience with knowledge of Six Sigma methodology is not required.

Successful graduates of Six Sigma Green Belt training program receive appropriate certificates. Presumption is that the participant has completed one improvement project based on DMAIC-methodology. Those participants who do not deliver the improvement project will receive only Confirmation of Participation of Training Programme.
